Information We Collect
When you submit the Request an Estimate form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, and a description of the problem you're having, plus optionally your email address, service address, service type, and photos of the issue. Your name, phone number, and description are required; the other fields, including photos, are optional.
How We Use It
We use the information you submit to follow up about your request — by phone or email, based on your preferred contact method — and to prepare an estimate for the work you've described. Any photos you attach help our team understand the problem before we reach out. We also use standard safeguards, like limiting how many requests can be submitted from the same source in a short period, to help keep this form working reliably and prevent abuse. We don't sell this information or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
This website uses one cookie on its public pages: a small preference file that remembers the language you've selected so we don't ask again on your next visit. We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party tracking scripts on these pages. Our staff sign-in area uses a separate, standard session cookie to keep staff members signed in; that cookie isn't set on the pages a visitor to our website sees.
How It's Stored
Submitted information, including any photos, is stored using our business management software, provided by Supabase, and is accessible only to Bluewave FS staff; photos are kept in private storage and are never made public. We also use Resend to deliver an internal notification email to our team when a new request comes in, and Vercel to host and deliver this website — service providers that help us operate this site and respond to your request.
Data Security
We use reasonable measures to help protect the information submitted through this site, such as private storage for photos and access limited to authorized staff. No method of storing or transmitting information online is completely secure, though, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request and, if it leads to a job, for our business records afterward. You can contact us at any time to ask what information we have, correct it, or request that we delete it. We'll honor deletion requests except where we need to keep records tied to services you've already requested or that we've already performed.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for general audiences and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
